Echo Island Preserve

Description: This small island is managed by Coastal Mountains Land Trust through a cooperative agreement with the Megunticook Watershed Association. The island offers important nesting habitat for various bird species. For that reason, the island is closed to visitors during the loon nesting period, from April 15 - August 1.
