Hodson Preserve
Location: Camden
Protected: 1992
Acreage: 35 acres
Description: One of our first Preserves, Hodson was gifted for the purpose of providing a wildlife sanctuary near the edge of Camden. Now almost completely forested, waist-high stonewalls are one of the few clues to the agricultural past of the Preserve. A small field of productive apple trees is a favorite fall feeding spot for deer and other wildlife who find refuge in this Preserve.
Special Preserve Use Guidelines:
Dogs are not permitted on the Hodson Preserve because the Preserve was given specifically for the purpose of protecting wildlife.
