Description: Encompassing 230 acres, this generous gift from the Newman family contains a mix of forest and wetland that stretches from the shore of Pitcher Pond, up and over Bird Hill, and down to the Edge of Herrick's Bog. In the works is a trail from the shores of Pitcher Pond to the top of Bird Hill that will feature sweeping views of the surrounding countryside, Penobscot Bay, and Camden Hills.
