SUMMARY:Coastal Mountains Nature Program talk – All About iNaturalist
DESCRIPTION:On Tuesday\, September 12\, at 6:30 pm\, the Camden Public Library\, in partnership with the Coastal Mountains Land Trust\, welcomes Maine Master Naturalist Roger Rittmaster for a fascinating presentation on one of the world’s most popular and exciting nature apps: iNaturalist.  \nSince Rittmaster’s last talk at the Camden Public Library\, iNaturalist has grown incredibly\, in its size\, number of users\, and applications. The program will start with the basics of using iNaturalist to identify unknown species\, and Rittmaster will demonstrate how to use the Explore function to learn more about plants and animals of interest. He will provide tips and tricks to make the most of this tool and show how it can allow even the most amateur naturalist the ability to communicate with experts all over the world. \nThis is a hybrid program and will take place in person in the Picker Room at the Camden Public Library as well as on Zoom.
