DESCRIPTION:Coastal Mountains Land Trust’s Arts on the Hill program brings Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra (aka MoJO) to Beech Hill Preserve on Sunday\, October 8 at 2:00 p.m. as part of this popular and free summer concert series. Rained out THREE times this summer\, MoJO’s pent up energy will have Beech Hill hopping! \nMondaynite Jazz Orchestra is an extraordinary 18-piece Midcoast-based big band that plays modern as well as traditional jazz\, including Latin\, swing\, blues\, and funk. The band derives its name from their practice schedule: Monday nights\, and they certainly have their mojo workin’. \nPlan to bring a picnic\, relax and enjoy the spectacular view…unless you’re up dancing to the beat! \nAll Arts on the Hill performances are free and open to all ages but please leave your dogs at home. \nArts on the Hill is made by possible and presented by lead sponsors Cold Mountain Builders and Emily and Jonathan McDevitt and partner sponsors Maine Coast Orthodontics\, Bangor Savings Bank\, and Camden Coast Real Estate.
