SUMMARY:CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN - Happy Wanderers: Mclellan-Poor Preserve in Northport
DESCRIPTION:EVENT CANCELLED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN – Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust (CMLT) on a guided hike along the trails of the Mclellan-Poor Preserve in Northport. The trail has minimal elevation gain and is almost entirely forested along the southern shore of Little River Lower Reservoir. The reservoir makes up part of the southern Little River watershed before it finds it’s way into the Bay.  The trail crosses several streams\, which have created distinct ravines throughout the landscape. The guides will offer hikers a couple of options to choose from\, ranging from 2.2-miles to over 3-miles. \nThis hike is part of the Happy Wanderers walking series\, which explores preserves and trails throughout Knox and Waldo counties.
