Hands on the Mountain: Ragged Mountain Community Trail Care Day

Camden – In celebration of conservation and recreation Coastal Mountains Land Trust is hosting Hands on the Mountain, a half day of trail work on Ragged Mountain on Saturday, May 19th from 8:45-1:30.
Give back to the mountain and join fellow hikers, bikers, and skiers for a half day of trail work at the Camden Snow Bowl. Starting at 8:45, small groups will deploy on and around the mountain to tackle trail projects at the Camden Snow Bowl, Ragged Mountain Preserve, the Georges Highland Path, and the Goose River mountain bike area. Tasks will include building new mountain bike trail, fixing bridges, and working on problem wet spots. Lunch and drinks will be generously provided by the Bagel Cafe and Baxter Brewing. All physical abilities welcome—bring water, gloves, and trail tools (shovel, rake, pick axe, loppers/handsaw).
