Ring in the New Year with an invigorating hike at Beech Hill Preserve! Land Trust staff will open Beech Nut, the historic sod-roofed stone hut on top of Beech Hill, for this special event from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1st. The Hut will welcome you with a toasty fire, lit chandeliers, hot chocolate, and cookies (if you have any leftover cookies, bring them on up!). A sweet start to 2020. Dress warmly and wear appropriate footwear. No spikes or crampons will be allowed in the hut (it scratches our beautiful tiles).
Watch for signs to park on designated side of the road if the Beech Hill Road lot is full.
Beech Hill Preserve is a 295-acre conservation property, managed for the complementary purposes of maintaining its scenic beauty, historic value, grassland bird habitat, and organic blueberry production.
