The third season of the RunBelfast race series has run up against the virus. A quick reboot to virtual (almost) and we are ready to encourage residents of Belfast to get outside, keep moving and support five great organizations.
A virtual series allows participants to run and walk anywhere they choose, almost anytime they want, in the week leading up to ‘race day’. Using the honor system, race participants will email firstname.lastname@example.org with their time and distance before midnight on race day. We will publish all the participants and consider everyone a winner!
Participants can register for individual races or sign up for the whole series at RunBelfast.org.
so that they have goals all summer and fall. These organizations provide important services and support for Waldo County and we hope that you will participate with that in mind!
The Rollie’s Run for Kids on Oct 3 remains scheduled for 8:30 am. We sincerely hope that we can all come together by then to enjoy a morning on the Rail Trail. Watch for updates through the summer. Until then, consider registering on RunBelfast.org for the series or any of the individual races as follows: and follow us on Facebook!
