FREE Blueberry Picks at Beech Hill Preserve!
Coastal Mountains Land Trust invites the public to participate in the 18th annual free blueberry pick! This year, instead of selling blueberries, we are excited to offer a full week of community free picks, from Saturday, August 1 to Friday, August 7 – a wild Maine blueberry extravaganza!
In preparation, we want to be as clear as possible about the steps put in place to keep participants safe.
First, pre-registration is required in order for us to keep the number of participants per time slot within State of Maine guidelines. Please go to our website www.coastalmountains.org to register.
Second, each day has been divided into four sessions, with each session limited to 40 individuals at a time:
Session 1: 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Session 2: 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Session 3: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Session 4: 2:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Participants are required to bring a mask (although will not need to wear if distanced from others), their own drinking water, and containers. Raking is NOT permitted. Hand washing stations will be available.
Remember that dogs are not allowed in the fields, so please leave them at home. If you have any questions or concerns, email email@example.com.
