Happy Wanderers Hike: Ragged Mountain Preserve

Join Coastal Mountains Land Trust and Maine Health’s Community Health program for a Happy Wanderers Hike at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 3 at the Ragged Mountain Preserve, Thorndike Brook Trailhead, 223 Hope Street, Hope ME 04847.

This will be a 2.5-mile loop excursion that includes the Round the Mountain Trail and the Georges Highland Path. Participants should bring footwear appropriate for current hiking conditions: boots and ice grips if there is snow or ice. Please remember to leave your pet at home!

The Happy Wanderers meet on the first Thursday of each month on various trails in Knox and Waldo counties.
Thorndike Brook Trail head: 223 Hope St., Hope

Directions: From Camden, take Rt. one south, then take Rt. 90 west. After 2.5 miles, turn right on Rt. 17. Continue 2.7 miles then turn right onto Hope street. There are two trailheads on this road. Park at the trailhead marked with a Coastal Mountains Land Trust sign.
